Calling all 5th graders to join the ART CLUB for 2013-14!

This year, the ART CLUB will be painting murals on the bathroom doors of each pod here at school.  Hopefully we will have time to do one more project as well! 

 ART CLUB will only be for 5th graders, unless there is not much participation, then I will open it to 4th graders too.

Students must pick up an ART CLUB APPLICATION (outside of the art room door in a folder on the wall) or from Mrs. Sircy, and return it to Mrs. Sircy by December 17th.  All art work must be turned in by this date.
 
I will post new members name outside my door and on my website by Dec. 19th.

New School Year 2013!

Welcome back to school!  I can't wait to get started creating masterpieces! In most classes we are starting with the 1st element of art... LINES!  Check back soon to see some art in action.

ART CLUB

Art Club will meet on Thursday's from 3:45-4:45 from now until Spring Break.  Pick up will be outside the art room doors close to the beginning of the car rider line. Please call me on my cell phone if you are running late, 585-4445. Thank you!

2nd graders learned about textures, read a book called That Darn Yarn, and then drew and decorated SOCK MONKEYS!  They had so much fun and the results are adorable...

Evan reached the level of "outstanding" in art class which means he got to choose something from the treasure box.... he chose "Bring a Stuffed Animal To Class"!!!  Way to go Evan!

I'm so excited to announce the newest members of  ILE's first ART CLUB!...  Emma Kay Sneed, Azalea Mackey, Conrad Murphy, Wyly Johnson, Jenna Palermo, Eric Kohls, Georgia Perry, Madison White, Julie Mabrey, Sydney Cleary, Landon Word, Katie Rathert, Shaun Santos, and Andre Anderson!  Yay!

We will meet this Wednesday after school in the art room from 3:45-4:45.  Please have your ride there on time for pick up outside the art room doors (the 2 doors closest to  the beginning of the car rider line).  Please bring in the $10 fee if you haven't already. Can't wait to get started on some art fun!! See you then:)
