Art Club Field Trip
On Saturday, March 21, 2015, we will be taking the Warriares and the Art Club on a fieldtrip to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and The Frist Center for the Visual Arts. The performance at the Schermerhorn begins at 11:00 a.m. and will feature the music of Mozart while depicting his life as a musician. The symphony will partner up with Street Theatre Company for this performance. After the performance, we are going to visit The Frist Center for the Visual Arts. Mrs. Sircy and I will be sending out an itinerary for that day soon. This will include what time to meet at school that morning, times for activities while we are downtown, and what time we will return. We will also be using school transportation (buses) to transport the students on that day. We are asking that students pack their own lunch for that day. We will eat in between the Schermerhorn visit and the Frist visit.
We are hoping to have at least 10 adults to chaperone along with me and Mrs. Sircy. The students' tickets are paid for; but, chaperones will need to pay their own way. The cost for this event is $22 per adult.
Please let me and Mrs. Sircy know if you would like to chaperone and whether your child will be able to attend. Also, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us. We are very excited!
